Best way to combat this algae?

Hi there I think this is green hair algae, I am trying to figure out the best way to deal with it. Should I use chemiclean? Currently have Mexican turbos Midas goby and starry blenny.

Manual removal is a good place to start. Tooth brushes and small bottle brushes work pretty well. You'll have to stay committed until the phase passes.

That kind of algae growth will best be controlled by manual removal, nutrient (mostly nitrates) by better export, reduces feeding and perhaps an urchin
Blennies will not impact it when it gets to that point

How old is the tank? What is your cleaner crew? Do you do manual removal daily?

I restarted the tank about 2 months ago. The rock is a year old. I think my mistake was adding bottled bacteria when I restarted the tank. It caused this bloom that I’ve now been dealing with. I just got more hermit crabs and Mexican turbo snails

Chemiclean is for bacterial issues (Cyano). It will have zero effect on algae unfortuantely.
