Best way to "de pest" a clam?

I am moving my clam from my frag tank back to my DT, and recently discovered that my frag tank had flatworms (just the brown/rust colored), but I do not want them back in my DT. I am curious how I should go about cleaning the clam so that its shell is free of the flatworms before I moved it over.
