Best way to feed Gracilaria

What is the best way to feed Gracilaria? I can't find a way without it floating all around the tank.

An algae clip or rubber band it something heavy. Is floating not working?

Nope floating not working, when it drifts by all the fish as fast as they can swim away from it. You can see all my fish in mass in my 220g will run to the other side of the tank from the gracilaria as it gets blown across the tank from the flow.

Treat it like Nori. Clip it.

I use these feeders for my Nori. Don't like clips because don't like algae floating around the tank and it just gets ripped off clips and then floats and gets obliterated into tiny pieces by powerheads and just goes into the sock in the sump and not eaten.
