How are people feeding seaweed ? I tried strapping it to a rock but the rubber band breaks it all up... should I pre-soak it so it doesn’t snap ?

Two Little Fishes has a nori clip that is easy to use. I have seen it the local fish store.

I just use a $3 plastic clip with suction cup. But I only have 2 fish that eat nori like this, a kole tang and a starry blenny.

If you mean nori use the elastic band to pull tight in 3 or 4 spots.
It’s this

Ok I’ll pick a couple of those up.. with the rock rubber band method the band seems to crush the dried seaweed and then it eventually rips and floats all over the tank...

If you have a large/deep tank and need to be able to move the food around, then I'd recommend a magnet clip.

Use a clip. Like the ones you use for chips.

I turn my powerheads down and just toss a small piece in and it sink and hit a rock. Then the tang goes at it. Clips always broke on me or would start rusting if there was metal

This makes them work for it, like grazing on rocks.
Rather than getting the whole sheet at once.

I take an 8"x8" sheet of nori and fold it a bunch of times until it's 2"x3". Then I use a couple rubber bands like a net to hold it to a scrap of rock and throw the whole thing in the tank.

A sheet lasts for several hours this way, and only rarely do large pieces get loose.
