I'm looking for the safest way to frag this chalice .

Is it encrusted onto the rock? If not, I usually just pick them up, flip them over (so colored part is facing down) then score with a new, clean razor. Then I just crack it along the line I just drew and glue it on a plug

Thanks I will try the razor knife. I'm setting up another tank and want to frag a few of my chalice most are 8-10 inches across.

I have heard from a Legendary-corals.com video that it's best to try to have at least one eye/mouth per frag to aid in eating and recovering
