So apparently my phosphates are zero and now I have a Dino outbreak. Do you know the best way to bring the phosphates back up a bit? I was reading to increase your feedings but my nitrates are at around 15 and I don’t really want them to get much higher or I could start to have other problems. Also do you know how it’s possible for nitrates to be a bit higher but phosphates to be at zero? I always thought they followed each other. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Feed your corals reef roids, but be careful they don't get to high.

Ok great, thanks for the info. Do you know around how long it should take for phosphates to increase in a 45 gallon tank if I feed reef roids everyday?

Everyday the phosphate will climb. Your system might suck it up as it tries to climb but go slow and test often

This is true, but just one more thing to add, dont feed you corals every day, do it every second or third day because over feeding coral is not good, good luck!

I use the following obtained from eBay.

Dissolve 1.4g in 100ml RODI water

Dose 1ml to raise PO4 by 0.10ppm per 100l (26.5g) of tank water

Cheap, simple and effective.
