I am starting up a new tank with live sand but reef saver rock and was wondering what the best way to introduce a diverse microfuana population is

I have always used Inland Aquatics detritivore kits to seed new tanks. I have used these packages for over 12 years now with great results.

A detritivore kit would be the best idea IMO. I started with dry life rock by caribsea but to seed it added a couple of chunks of wet real reef from the lfs and have regretted it ever since, I've had at least 2 polyclad flatworms and a eunice worm come out of it, at least with a detritivore pack you know exactly what your getting!
