Best way to keep

So woke up at 6 am to 5 gallons of water on my floor. Protein skimmer some how moved and the spout was out side of the sump. How do I keep this from happening again

If we turn it around it goes into the 2chamber. Is that okay.

Should be ok. It shouldn't make much difference where the spout empties out. As long as it's in the sump ;Hilarious
