Best way to make sure there are no pests?

Hi, I added live rock to my tank today and had a Majano anemone, so I killed it and now I'm freaking out about other pests. What is the best way to make sure there are no pests and he tank is safe?

Educate yourself on what to look for, what pests are out there, what they effect/feed on, good guys vs bad guys, and always have a phone or camera nearby to snap pictures so that we can ID it for you when you aren't sure. As much as we don't want pests in our tank, they have their own spot in the ecosystem so it will be inevitable to end up with some. That's why it's crucial you educate yourself on them and how to eradicate. Late night stakeouts are a good idea every now and then because a lot of critters don't come out when the lights are on. Also if you really want to be cautious dedicate separate areas for a fish QT and a QT for corals/rock/inverts.
