Best way to maximize macro growth/ propagation tips

Hi Everybody,
I'm interested in growing macro algae on a larger scale than my refugium currently provides. I've seen a number of DIY options that seem like good options to increase Macro growth and I wanted to know if anyone had any tips, ideas or resources they would be willing to share with me. I'm interested in growing Chaeto but I also really like Gracilaria and Ulva. If there are off the shelf options I'd be interested in those too but I find the DIY options to be the most enticing. =)

I use brightwell's Cheato Grow and it works pretty well and a little goes a long ways. I generally start dosing if the cheato stalls out. Some dose iron but I haven't tried that yet.
