Best way to remove algae from overflow?

I tried just washing w vinegar & water but it's a coarse surface and being stubborn. I assume I need to fill the whole tank? It's 233g, how many gallons of vinegar do I need?

We'll see how it goes! How long should I let it soak like this? I plan to re-wet it after a couple hours.

So it worked, mostly. There seems to be something else on there, and I've been scrubbing so much and it's still not coming off. Like to the point where the sponge / green scrubber is breaking down lol. Ideas?

I read I can use a 20:1 ratio of water:muriatic acid to really break it down. Anyone know?

So, I tried muriatic acid today, no luck. The overflows look the same. So a lot of effort for nada...the perfectionist in me wouldn't let it go through, hah. Tomorrow I'll wipe it down with 5:1 bleach water. Getting close to done with the cleaning phase!

You could try Citric Acid.

Sand it then buff it with Novus 3 then Novus 2 scratch remover. The coraline has worked it's way into the acrylic. You'll need to take off the surface layer.
