Best way to remove mushrooms from difficult spots

Okay. My LFS buddy gave me some mushrooms when I first started my tank up couple years ago and now they have colonized in the shady spots on lower side of live rock . I want to remove them . They are missing with my paly grandes in one area as well. What’s been your best approach on removing them where they will not come back ? I thought I would ask before I got into this

Surgical excision outside the tank, anything else is lesser. not a laser, not a majano wand, a cleaned off flat tip screwdriver.

not in a way that leaves flesh behind, it’s easier than you think I once cleared 200 out in a thread, has to be rasping.

pick one, and literally shove a flat tip screwdriver, sharpened preferably, up under it and score it off.

no growback, one pass did my whole tank. The scored spots simply fill back in over time with various things
Your tank looks like a large tiger clawed it

there is no in tank way other than scoring in tank, sounds messy I’d never do that.

I was thinking of doing similar with tool I have in fragging kit I have but I thought it wasn’t strong enough.

I cannot remove rock out of tank so I will start with a sharp screwdriver or similar .
I have never removed them before .
