Melafix / Pimafix are nice, but when infections get serious, it's time to break out serious antibiotics. I've had decent luck running Maracyn and Maracyn-2 concurrently in freshwater ... but that was a long time ago.

I was just typing this in when you posted lol, thanks Bruce! :D

Yea 2 gallon tank I do 75% WC every 3 days
When you do the water change, are you adding in more medicine to replace what you're taking out from the water change?

Judging by the pics do you guys think he'll be ok? Or is it pretty bad?
It's pretty bad, but dont give up. I'd get the meds that Bruce suggested above, keep the water quality as best you can

That could be a bacterial or fungal infection - the latter is much more common in FW fish than marine.

Acriflavine would be ideal for this situation because it is an antiseptic + antifungal: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/acriflavine.282887/

Malachite Green is another good option: http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/AquariumMedication3.html#malachite_green

But afterwards, sustained antibiotic treatment (10 days) will be needed: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/antibiotics.283711/
So best bet is acriflavine then maracyn 1 & 2 for 10 days?
