I brought strontium up myself. We'll see what happens!

Yeah, I got levels in that range finally. Hopefully they stay there & we'll see how the rest kicks off.I have always found that when concentrations reach 10 ppm or slightly higher, that growth gets a kick in the pants![]()
1 More question - Do you still micro-bubble?

what iron and strontium do you dose?
Glad to see my fellow no water change buddy back on his feet! Tank looks excellent sir! I'm still fighting the post-move blues (moved in March) but tank seems to be stabilizing the last month or so.
So you're not carbon dosing anymore and using the crushed coral "reactor". Very interesting!
Also, noticed you dosed traces. Strontium, iron, iodine/iodide, and boron. Can you share a little more about your routine and the products you use to dose? Very curious about this even though most of my elements are in the right parameters currently. I just want to know now how to do it so when I need it, I can be ready.![]()
Great comeback man!![]()

How you test your Boron level?
Any other coral responding the same way
Not afraid to starve them with 0nits?
how high do you have your lights mounted
I use the Salifert test and had it ordered in for me from my LFS, but it's very finicky to use. A triton test is also done every 4-6 months. Boron levels don't deplete very fast at all in my tank.

Do you have any pictures and background information about your DIY calcium reactor?
