Well, can it get worse? I guess they could ban fish shipments also.

I hope the new person takes a nuanced view of coral exports, instead of a one size fits all. I think mariculture corals can help the hobby, the corals farmers and even the reef themselves. Corals can be transplanted back to the reefs where needed, especially if the farmers learn and are good at growing and propagation. Heck, I am sure some farms might even create new coral reefs with all the corals they are farming.
