I had purchased a AI prime about 4 months ago after speaking to a rep. I told the rep where I was planning on putting it in my sump and that it is humid under there so I was nervous of it getting distoryed from the humidity. The rep stated that unless you drop it in water or take water and spill it into it your fine. Humidity won't be an issue. So about 4 months later after it working flawlessly and nicely, I really liked the output!! It started flashing, so I called AI support and they said they would send out a replacement and to send mine back and it should be no problem, and I told him on the phone where it was and he also stated that humidity should not hurt it at all. Well a weeks gone past since I sent it in and I get an email that I am beeing charged 199.99 for the replacement because they found water damage!! I called them and told them the situation and they stated you must send it back and we will send you a refund, and that I will have to ship it back, they will not generate a return label. So now I'm out 200+, shipping cost, and I don't even have a broken light to show for it. I will never buy another light from AI, if your tank or room is somewhat humid do not purchase this light.
Ps. I did like the fact they sent me out a light right away when they found out.
