Any of you guys familiar with the reef octo by 100 hob skimmer? I'm in need of some assistance

Well for some reason it won't go through. So I've got my skimmer hung and running but it's not flowing back into the tank the way it should. It has that final micro bubble chamber that over flows through the filter and back into the tank. But mine is just running out of the top of that pipe not through the bubble chamber.
