Bi color blenny changed to all black.

Anyone have any idea why? I've owned a few over the years, but this is the first one I've had thats morphed to all black. He's also bigger then most I've had as well. He's living with 2 midas, and a small lawnmower that he likes to boss around now and then. Diet is a mix of new life spectrum, and loaded mysis. He also eats algae. I dont think it's diet.

Its a female color trait during breeding.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I have 2 midas blennies that I have no idea if they are paired, but they both get along now after a week or so. Actually, I have 2 midas, and that bi color all living in one rock. its kinda halarious. The only other blenny is a small lawnmower the bi color chases from time to time. Maybe the 2 midas are getting her in the mood lol
