Hello experienced aquariasts! I'm more of an intermediate experienced level, having a successful nano for the past 5 years and doing a lot of research. I am now 6 weeks into cycling both sides (I had an acrylic 180 gallon made with a center acrylic divider for 2 separate sides and two separate sumps to make 2 completely separate systems. It's a 4-sided, center-of-the-room display with the FOWLR side being 105 gallons, and the live reef w/coral side equalling 75 gallons...pic attached). My question arises for the FOWLR side. I'm trying to form a relatively peaceful FOWLR community among the semi-aggressives. Im looking into those that should max out at 4-6" in a 105 gallon (+20 in the sump). I already have our 5 year old bonded pair of clowns in there at week 5. I am going to have a yellow bellied dogface puffer and dwarf golden moray eel in there, but I don't think I'll have much luck with inverts, so I was considering a Bi-color Goatfish as the guy who cleans up the food on the surface with a couple messy eaters in there. Here's what I plan to have in this 105g FOWLR side:
2 clowns
Yellow bellied Dogface Puffer
Dwarf golden moray eel
a wrasse
Bluespotted Angelfish AND
Blueline Angelfish (introduced together)
(female) Blue Throat Trigger
Square Tail Bristletooth Tang
[Bi-color Goatfish]
...and that's all!
So...would you find the Bi-color a prudent and safe addition? And where in my batting order would you introduce it? Thank you greatly,
Steve
