Bi-valve sponge?

Hey everyone, I've been watching this little critter for a while now and decided to see what the consensus was.
It will close up when shining a light on it, about the same color as the whitish clear sponges that are common. Looks like a type of sponge, but it is in the shade. Any ideas?

From what you have described I would say its a tunicate but I can't really tell by looking at the picture

Yeah that's the best I can do. It's in the back of the tank so it's hard to get a good shot.
