Bicolor blenny eating habbits

So from my research and understanding bicolor blennies eat algae and other vegetable matter such as seaweed. However my blenny will not accept any for of vegetable matter I put into the aquarium. He will only accept the same food my onyx percula clowns eat (shrimp, worms both freeze dried and frozen) I have read it isnt healthy for blennies to eat much meat. Is this a problem I need to fix asap or is there no huge problem with him having the same diet as the clowns?

Green and brown seaweed sheets, algae (wafers,flakes, and tablets) he just ignores them all.

hmm, have you tried any frozen green stuff? i have some hikari spirulina brine stuff that's loaded with nutritious algae that all of my fish love. i also have some straight up algae frozen herbivore stuff for my flame angel. and i feed a few other omnivore type things and some nyos algae pellets.

if it eats frozen mysis it'd probably eat the spirulina stuff. my other fish don't seem as big on the mega marine algae stuff, but do eat it. and even my wrasses eat the algae pellets oddly enough so hopefully the blenny would go for those, my midas blenny goes for all of them too

Here's how I got mine to eat nori.

Take nori and rubber band around a small rock and place near his hole. I'm sure he has a favorite hole he likes to hang out in. He will taste is from curiosity or bite it out of frustration. Wing near his hole like mine did. Now he eats it off a clip.

Eating frozen meaty food, along with grazing on your rockwork, is a perfectly acceptable diet.

The frozen food with algae is a good suggestion though.

I had a bicolor and he ate pellets and frozen brine. My tailspot is the same. I do throw some algae pellets in on occasion that they eat as well
