So been testing daily since using Red Sea program but my alk at 11 calcium at 500 mag at 1600 but nothing has changed in about a week or so?

I have about 15 frags in tank since buying my started set of corals Montis are growing have not lost any sps colors are all coming just seems weird.

My mag has been 1600 for over 2 months even after water changes and changing salt. I have no ill effects just wondering why nothing is really being consumed.

Cal I had for a few weeks dosing 3ml at 460 but did a water change and has not come back down from 500 since

Alk I’ve never had less than 10 never really dosed since I want to get down to the 8.5-9 range

Any ideas?

Your demand isn’t high enough. It seems like it happens overnight. One day you hit that point where your corals start soaking it all up. If you are noticing growth then you are good. Sounds like you’re in a good place right now with your reef.

I'd just monitor the alkalinity until things start growing faster. If it doesn't drop a lot, the others won't change either. Even if you dropped to 7 dKH, calcium and mangesium will still be above normal. :)

Thanks for the response will do.
My Alk drops very slowly right now so I’ll just watch that and dose when it starts taking off agian.

Just wanted to make sure testing but not dosing seemed correct did not want too add anything that was not already being consumed. I have like ten little Red Sea bottles and I was like I’m not using any of us this stuff something must be wrong. Lol

Thanks searching for that day and waiting lol .

Trying to find stability and be able to track what’s being used and tricks of the trade you have.
