Big colony of wild tunicates!?

These little buggers are tiny and 99% sure they’re tunicates based on internet pictures. They don’t seem to move but I feel like they’re multiplying. Does it work that way? It’s the little brown things in the picture, kind of look like spiders with sand camouflage to me lol

Can you try to make pictures that are much more zoomed in? Where we can see the presumed individual animals, not the whole colony?

I have a lot of small colonial tunicates on one rock in my build.

I would say they are colonial tunicates. There are certainly many types. To me it looks exactly like some KPAquatics rock I got a few months back that developed some of the same type of critters. They grew out and died off twice for me, haven’t seen them in my system for a bit. If you can find the right spot for that rock, you may have them more long term. Good filter feeders and a sign of a healthy system.
