90 gal Aqueon w overflow and sump system, coming in tomorrow morning. There is something about filling a fish tank with water for the first time, that is so sweet. Put the rocks in, the sand, arrange everything. Plug the return pump and power heads in. Flip the switch and start the cycle.

Build Thread - My Build Thread - 90g Aqueon

It's coming today - I'm starting from scratch. It's a 90g Aqueon with overflow and sump. So here's where I'm starting - the space next to the bird cage, and the few pieces of Signature cast coral I have. Also, I created an Excel spreadsheet of all the components, dimensions, power consumption...

I like setting it up. I think that’s why I keep buying new equipment. Something else to set up! The hardest part of the new tank set up is THE WAITING! Waiting for the delivery. Waiting for the salt to dissolve. Waiting for the sand to clear from the water. Waiting for the bacteria to spread. Then having the patience to not throw fish in prematurely! I admit that I have failed at some point on most of those things!
