Honestly I just grab them lol or the rock they crawl on if I can! I usually use nori to get mine to put out his claws for food then nab him

I tried to grab one when they first went in to move it to another location, and it wasn't letting go of the rock it was on. Maybe if this one latches onto a smaller rock I can get it into the sump.

I'm going to put up another tank for my mother over the course of the winter. If I can get it into the sump, it can go in Mom's tank.

Simple fish trap will work baited with shrimp or something meaty

It's about a foot long right now. Not very girthy, but eats like a horse.

Well, crab-zilla has been pretty brave the last few days and spent quite a bit of time roaming around in the open. I netted him while walking on the sand bed and put him in the sump. He can stay there for a few weeks until the aquarium I am building at my mother's house is ready.

Do these things eat pineapple sponges? If so, I have enough in the sump that this thing my grow to be 5' tall...
