Okay well I have a few concerns right now. Every time something scares my shrimp for example a hermit sneaking up on him or me accidentally closing the aquarium top too fast he will flip out and swim really fast all over the place for a second then stop and relax. Also today my clown wanted to get a cleaning and he refused, my clown even nuged him.
He should relax after a while n gets used to his tank mates got a banded shrimp yesterday hes still in hideing my fireshrimp cleans my gobys my mandarin purple firefish n diamond but when he tries to clean my clowns they freak out n take off lol hopefully they will eventually b friends but the shrimp is ten months old n clowns are 14 months n still haven't so who knows
Got back home today and the shrimp was looking fine not moving as usual after the incident.. I go to feed my fish and for whatever reason he flips out again. I said okay whatever he will be fine hes been doing this for the past few days. I was doing my homework then I looked back over and he was limp not moving no hanging on to anything. I pull him out onto a rock so I can make a better inspection and half his head is missing. I think he still has some movement in him but I think hes gone unfortunately. Anyone know what could of caused this? All parameters were at 0 the salinity is 32 ppt. I think eh died and maybe a hermit took a chunk of him. But how did he die? Too much stress? He was fine for a week I put him in the tank but after the incident he looked terrible.
That sucks I figured it pulled thru sence he was eating n yeah he got eatin by something at least ur cuc is doing theayre job n got a fresh treat at least
Dont add anymore critters let the tank run for a month keep a eye on parameters light feedings u should b good to go I have a bad stringy brown algae problem im battling so dont give up it could be worse
