Scored a large, five headed piece of purple torch today at my lfs, as well as a foxface. When I got home, I began the process of acclimating both the fish and the coral, without thinking about it, I placed both the fish and the torch in the same container, along with water from the fish bag, connected my accu drip to my DT and began the acclimation. About five to ten minutes later, I realized how stupid I was, my lfs (as well as most others) copper doses their fish display tanks. I immediately pulled the torch out of my acclimation container and set it in a container full of water from my DT, lfs params are pretty well close to those of my DT. I'm wondering if I should be planning on my torch not making it through, it currently looks OK, I wouldn't say full pe, but it's not totally sucked in. With the price of torch these days, I hate to see this one die over a stupid mistake, would be an expensive one at that.
