Hello , I ordered few months ago giesmann AURORA V8 hybrid lightning fixture.
I have waited 4 months to get it.
Finally it arrived to my country , but then suddenly the customs department contacted me , and told that I need special Approval from the Ministry of Communications in my country.
To get that type of approval, I need to tell them what is frequency of the WiFi inside of the fixture , the range of that frequency, the number of the model , and so on.
I have sent few mails to GIESMANN service support, they didn't reply to me.
Also , every day that the fixture is at FedEx is 10 dollars more for storage.
FedEx is so worse !! I hate that company ! it never happened to me with other shipping companies.

The model is AURORA V8 , 8×54w T5 , 4×95W Led. If someone have any idea for to find this data please help me !

Have you tried giving them a call? I doubt they'd have a problem giving you that info if you can get a hold of them

giesmann send me mail that frequency is 2.4 ghz , but they didn't reply me in what range and broadcast of that frequency...

Please let me know what country you're in so i never visit...

* The standard frequency range for 2.4Ghz is 2,400 to 2,483.5 Mhz
* I don't know what they mean by "broadcast", but the indoor range is 46m (and typically far less due to walls, etc.)

Rats, that's on my wish list of places to visit. Not sure if the information I provided helped - but hopefully it's some of what you need.

I know that the 2.4 Ghz is o.k ...but the fuc*#$ of the costumes department is asking me info that I'm not sure even if giesmann have it.

Well, that's the frequency range of 2.4GHz. They probably just want to make sure you're not building a bomb with it.

I think i will simply send the package back to Germany and will ask for refund
