Big red tube on torch

got this torch about three months ago one head was dead when I got it but there was a little polyp growing out of the skeleton, during a water change I found this tube growing out of the bottom. Dipped it in coralrx to be safe but still have no idea what it is. Pics attached

Sounds like a plan! just put it in a qt tank but since I just dipped it I may wait until tomorrow so I don’t stress it to death. Any idea what it may be it was in my display tank for a while so I’m wondering if I need to be worried about the rest of the tank
