BIG TANK - tiny creatures

I am thinking about building a tank of about 250 gallons (850 liters) with big aquascape and corals however inhabited by only smallest fish and tiniest crabs and shrimps.
A reef full of life however without big center inhabitants. Has anybody done this before? Could I see any pics?

I can definitely see this kind of set up making the tank look bigger than it is with small fish to give it scale.

I am thinking of having about 500 anemone crabs, 200 emerald crabs, 30 cleaner shrimp, 400 sexy shrimp, a pair of clowns and the best: goby and pistol shrimp.
