I think the biggest in U.S is the Georgia Aquarium and as far as the world it would be the one in Berlin but at one time I'm pretty sure it was in Valencia,Spain.

I actually saw that aquarium when I was in Berlin a couple years ago. It was pretty sweet! That was before I was into saltwater aquariums and didn't appreciate it to the extent I would now though! Bummer..

I thought the newest and largest is the Burj Dubai mall Aquarium, but I might be wrong.

I'm sure this isn't the biggest, but I've got a local fish store owner that's building a tank thats 12'x4'x4'. It's going to be a MONSTER!

in terms of aquarium, do you mean fo or reef?
cause there arent too many large reefs but theres tons of large boxes of water with fish in them

I saw that That 10000 gallon On a show recently..apparently it is the largest home aquarium in the US..as for the biggest in the US the Georgia Aquarium is the largest since it houses the whale sharks..
