Fairly new and trying to dial in my skimmer. Barely any waste to remove at present (for what it’s worth).

I have the skimmer water height at 7.5” (7-9 is recommended).

I’m getting tons of micro bubbles in the discharge and very fine bubbles in the neck. When I ran it when I was curing some dry pukani rock it was much thicker and I couldn’t really see the discharge in a rubberbmade tub.

Normal?

It often happens with new equipment and new tanks. Try to take in lesser air and use the outgoing valve to adjust the level in the skimmer. If it is a DC pump - just go down with the flow. wait for a couple of weeks and see if you can change back the settings again.

Sincerely Lasse
