My LFS just got in a shipment of bimac anthias. They're all pretty small - around 2" - so I thinking of getting a group of 5 for my 250. What is everyone's thoughts about getting 4f/1m or just 5f and letting the anthias sort out who's going to be the male?

One more thought...I could also go with three if people think that would be better.

one male and 3 females would be best number.
Assure they are not fighting at LFS tank when you select them and also are breathing normal, no skin rash or blemishes as they are susceptible to uronema and ASK TO SEE THEM EAT

Thanks for the feedback. That's interesting that you suggest 3f/1m because everything I've read talks about getting anthias in odd numbers.
