Bimaculatus Anthias - Changed sex but not completely

Good Evening Reefers,

I currently have had 3 bimaculatus Anthias in my tank. The most dominant and largest female actually has begun switching sexes and has the 2 spots on the dorsal fin but will not fully transition. I actually ordered a male when I had 2 female bimaculatus but the most aggressive female ended up killing that male and then developed the two black spots on dorsal fin.

I have noticed that it still holds the colors of the female bimacs. Anyone have any idea how long it will take before its color transitions from the pink & yellow to the red/blue the males normally show?

How long can this process take. I’ve had this fish for going on 1-1/2 years now and I would say it got the 2 black spots on dorsal fin over 1 year ago.

Not a bimaculatus, but I did have a dispar turn terminal male with two lyretail (female). Process took about 4 weeks.
