I need to treat my fish for ich and I can't afford a 55 gallon tank set-up. Can I use a few 50 gallon sterlite totes to treat them in? Will the plastic cause any issues to the fish? I have the following fish that need to go into QT: 1 large PB, 1 sub-adult mimic, 2 green chromis, 2 clowns, 1 possum wrasse, 2 sub-adult flame wrasses, 1 starry blenny. THanks!

I don't think it would be a problem as far as the plastic goes but it will be hard to monitor the appearance of the fish from top down.

Yeah I'd say get a tank as well. You can get the 40 breeders for $40 when Petco has their sale going on.

Those are all small fish though so get a few 10 gallons for $10 if you want to QT them separate.
