Bio ball question

I got a 10 gal tank for work and I have aqueon quietflow 10 led pro filter.... says it's okay for saltwater but I was curious as to putting bio balls behind the cartridge because I really don't wanna go out and buy a different filter. Unless I have to. Tia

Throw them things away. Your nitrates will be a pain unless you scrub each individual ball with a toothbrush.
