My tank has been running for a year and a half, and just out of curiosity I was wondering if adding bio boost would be beneficial? I have a few bootlegs of jacks bio boost that I've never used and didn't know if their would be any benefits to dosing it every now and then?

Most of the bio products out now are pretty beneficial actually. They just give your normal filtration a little boost. It can't hurt, so no worries there.

Would you happen to know what kind of benefits it would give my filtration? I'm using a refugium, external skimmer, 18w uv light and a phosban reactor! I'm also using chemi pure elite

It just adds bacteria to what you already have. Plus it might add a strain or two that you might not have.

I have a few bottles of bacteria that I keep around for emergencies. I have cycled tanks in 24 hours with it and live rock. That brings up a bunch of arguments, but it can be done with 0 loss.
