Can I get some pictures of how people have there return outlet angled. I haven't been using this tank for long and I'm still toying with the flow trying to get it right

I've got the Vivid Creative Aquatics RFG on mine, which helps a lot, and then i threw in a Jaebo PP-4 to add in some additional flow in the back. Only really stagnant area in the tank right now is the back left corner, other than that tank has pretty good flow throughout. Below check out video of my flow with the two in action, and then a picture for overall direction. I also used some 1/2 lock line to help bring the RFG over on my tank.

I’ve got a 29 too and you will likely want more flow than just the return. I’ve got 2 small powerheads in mine. One is a wavermaker and the other has constant flow. The wavermaker pulses to help break any constant 1 direction flow. Where you place additional powerheads is going to depend on your rock work and it can take some trial and error getting a sweat spot.

I also upgraded my return pump in the beginning and saw little benefit from that. I have the return outlet angled so that it’s aimed to hit higher up on the middle of the front glass.

I used to have the powerhead on the left side aimed to the front too but I was getting too much flow for some of my corals. So I now have it blowing along the back wall which is working so far.
