I have a Bio Cube 32 with In Tank media basket with filter floss (cleaned or changed every 5 days depending on how dirty it gets), Marine Pure Gems x 2 in media bags, Chemi-Pure Elite, In Tank Fuge basket with Chaeto and a fuge light running 12 hours opposite DT lights. Live stock: 2 Mocha Clownfish, 3 Bangaii Cardinalfish, Midas Blenny, Fire Shrimp, 2 Emerald Crabs, and 3 huge Turbo Snails. How often should I do water changes and is 5 gallons enough?

I have always been told 10% so your 5 gallons should be just fine. I have a Biocube 29 and do about 4 1/2 gallon WC every week.

4 1/2 gallons is probably closer to what I am doing because the bucket isn't completely full. Thank you.

I run basically the same set up you have and I do 5 gallons every week and it’s been working out for me.

Thank you! Do you ever add bacteria after the tank is established? I added pods twice but haven't added anymore bacteria.

Thank you! I will start adding it with my water changes.
if you want you can. But really it doesn't have any benefit. Your tank is 100% cycled. You have reached a bacterial equilibrium of sorts. Adding more bac isn't really going to help because your tank can really only support so much bac. In short, it's a waste of money.

Thank you! I will put that money into the big tank savings jar!

I started doing a 10 gallon water change every 10 days and the tank has responded really well.
