Good afternoon,
I just upgraded from a 70g salt using a Fluval G3 to 120g salt now using Eshopps R-300. I still have Matrix High capacity biofitration from the Fluval, and was wondering if I can use that in the refugium compartment? If not, what would others recommend for media?
Thanks
Howard

Do you have live rock in the aquarium? Most people use about 1 pound of live rock per gallon in the display aquarium and leave the sump open for equipment. Live rock has tons of surface area and is usually the easiest and most effective biological filtration.
