Currently running a GFO Reactor and a Charcoal reactor in a 125 gal.
Will be switching over to a Bio Pellet Reactor once I get a larger skimmer set-up.
Should I go cold turkey when I switch it over or do the switch slowly?

You will want phase the gfo out slowly. Bio pellets usually take about 6-8 weeks to begin being fully effective.

And slowly go up on the bp probably start with half the recommended ml amount or you'll get a bacteria bloom.. It won't hurt anything but it will make the tank very cloudy.

Also look for a brand that doesn't clump.. I'm currently using npx bp and they clump..
I'm gonna try Warner Marine's ecobak.
