Well tonight water test and wow some stuff is high.

Salinity - 34.0
Ph - 7.99
Alkalinity - 9.5
Calcium - 515
Phosphorus - 58 / .178
Nitrates - 28.1

Not 100% sure but it seems my nitrates and phosphorus have gone up since adding the pellet reactor in service. I have the output directly in front of my skimmer intake. Am I missing something that I should be doing also?

The pellets take some time to work. you might be able to seed them with something like Dr tim's waste away (mentioned this for his biopellets). Your nitrates are not too bad, but you are going to need to eventually dose them to keep lowering the phosphate or use some gfo in conjunction with the biopellets. This is because biopellets remove far more nitrate than phosphate. They are by far my favorite means to lower nitrate outside refugiums.

Before the reactor my nitrates were under 10 and phosphate were under .05. They were soaked in MB7 for 36ish hours prior. Added reactor, March 12, 2022, in hopes to make the phosphate and nitrates more stable and not fluctuate as much. I have some waste away on the shelf so maybe I will add a few doses to see what happens. I am going to add some Rowaphos, what I have on hand, to lower phosphate.
