Bio Pellets, worth it or not?

I only think they're worth using on a really low nutrient tank, but you have to be careful. If you overdose with them you can crash the tank. If you do water changes, have a quality skimmer, and some macroalgae for nutrient export they aren't necessary in most systems, at least in my opinion.

Biopellets are worth it if you have a high Bio load. I like to feed my tank and carbon dosing with pellets and a quality skimmer has kept my nutrients in check for years. Takes a bit to get dialed in but consistency and patience are needed in this hobby. I've never ran a fuge and love biopellets, I can feed heavy and keep my nitrate at 5-10 where the corals like it. There will be mixed opinions but mine is definitely worth it.
