Bio pills Didn't work why ?

I tried bio pills a few years ago I put them in the reactor and I had Then Tomberlin nicely and The outlet close to the skimmer I started with 100 mils And Added 100 mils every month It was running for four months and the nitrates did not come down at all my nitrates Were 100 at the time
Would like to know why it works for some and not others Would be grateful for your views

Very good question. But i've not heard that they didn't work for some. Did you use an off brand name Pellet?

Can you tell us what brand pellets you used? Also did you add any additional bacteria to the tank to help boost the growth within the reactor?

I used Nutri-Fix NP Bio pellets
Made by DD And use bio booster had to put a few drops in Every so many days Can't remember Who that was by Hope this helps
