So I'm trying to add some type of live rock in my sump. My sump is pretty small 100.3 water box system. What's the most efficient way to ad bio balls or those super porous rock blocks? I have like a 8x8x8 area that I can fill with this type of media. I'd prefer the blocks for easy removal. Or something I can throw in a bag. I have a filter roll system that's going to b behind it and I will have to service that every so often. So the easier I can take it out the better. The picture I have does not show the baffle of glass I have separating it from this center section where my protein skimmer will go. Just imagine there's another piece of glass right up against that filter maybe one or two inches off to the right of it.

I have two 4x8x8 marine pure blocks in my refugium. I feel like it could easily be scraped down to fit if it was right at the size limit because I can dent it by squeezing too hard when I pick it up for cleaning. They make various shapes and sizes as well. I just rinsed mine in RODI and stuck it in the sump.

But u do like the Marine pure? Cuz 2 blocks would b perfect

I love it. It's pretty mind blowing sticking this giant block in and watching the water level barely increase. I have one blue leg hermit and one trochus snail in the fuge with those blocks and sea lettuce. Everything stays nice and clean. Occasionally I get some GHA on the marine pure and a credit card scrapes it right off.

Ok dude I pulled the trigger. Amazon prime will b there today when I get home from work I'll let u know how they fit. I bought 2 of em. Like 110 bucks shipped

Yeah, they aren't "cheap" but I have no regrets. I had live rock in there but it was taking up too much space and didn't have anywhere near the surface area marine pure has. Fiji rock is the only one BRS found to have more surface area by weight.
