BioAdvance smells like gasoline.

I switched to BioAdvance complete ...as it was just rebranded Beyer Complete.

However, this latest bottle smells like gasoline.

Did something change?

Anyone else using this notice the gasoline smell?

They are not the same. The original Bayer Complete had these active ingredients:

Imidacloprid - 0.72%
beta-Cyfluthrin - 0.36%

The product you have does contain beta-Cyfluthrin, but also contains Sodium O-phenylphenate, and "other ingredients."

I recently bought a new bottle of bioadvanced for dipping corals. I've only gone through one bottle before but this new bottle has a very strong chemical smell (OP is on point it smells like gas). I've dipped a few mushrooms already and have not had an issue but I don't remember my old bottle having a smell like this.

I'll re-ask OP's question: should we not be using "bayer" anymore? I love it because it was safe and cheap compared to "reef" dips.

Following along.
Smells horrible and I run my fish room air exchanger on max when doing it.
I just dipped a bunch of different LPS in it with no casualties. Dipping montis, acros and millis today.
However, is it still effective vs AEFW?

Im pretty sure this rebranding isn’t that new? People must have been using it for a while now as BioAdvance. Maybe changing the name of the thread would get more views to get opinions of people currently using it?
