Bioball bags causing problems???

I just happen to think about the little metal zipper on my bioball bags could this be a part of my aglae problems?

The zipper looks like it's coated. Metal might cause other problems, but I don't know about algae though.

The one in the pic has never been used the 2 with the bioballs in them are bubbly and don’t look that uniform.

If you're sure it's metal and not plastic, then it may be stainless underneath.
