Biobrick from Brightwell

Hey, will a biobrick make my skimmer go crazy or is it something else
i added a biocube and my skimmer started to over flow and no matter the setting, it would not stop. I took the cube out and still overflows.
is it the cube or something else?

I think something else. I have a biobrick and don’t recall that issue.

Unless maybe it raised the water height of your skimmer…

It did not. Ill have to clean skimme thoroughly then. maybe something got in there

I would expect a biobrick to be inert to the system when new.
Possible water height caused it. Does not have to change much to require skimmer adjustment

I thought so too. I have something under the skimmer to make it a bit higher. I replaced the brick with that and then tried it again with airflow all the way down and it still kept on bubbling and overflowing.

how old is it?
Is it broken in?
