Hello all,

Now that you have helped me get my tank properly cycled my brain has been going at %110 trying to figure out what can go in now. I think I have my livestock picked out (well mainly just fish), but I was wondering what could I have in my tank coral and anemone wise with the stock hood? I plan on upgrading the lights maybe in a few months. I would like to do some softies and some easy LPS if possible and there just isn't much for me to go off of online about the LED biocubes so for now I shall turn to you guys again haha.

If you have any recommendations For corals or anemones I'm all ears!

I don't have this tank, but spec sheet makes me think some low to moderate light corals would do well. Might consider zoas, green star polyps, xenia, mushrooms, of course, and leathers; for LPS maybe hammers, frogspawn, candy canes. Some of these are fast growing/invasive or aggressive so proper placement in your tank is important. Anemones are more challenging and I wouldn't consider getting one until your tank has matured over many more months and water parameters are stable. (Yeah, hard to resist having a clown and a nem) I think most anemones commonly for sale like stronger light so the upgrade you choose will be important.

Good luck, so many species to choose from.

What he said. Exactly!

Thanks guys ! I'm going to my lfs Friday so I'll do some more research till then :)

What kind of fish are you planning on?

I have a pair of clowns about to come out of quarantine so that's probably all I'm gonna have, maybe a watchman goby but unsure at the moment. This 16 gallon really hit off my obsession so Friday when we go into town to visit the lfs I'm also gonna be looking and a larger tank lol

We went from 8 to 29. Both BioCubes.

Well we got our buildings specifications for how much weight our floors can handle so they are having a sale on some of the 120 gallon tanks and Friday is payday so maybe a little bit of splurging wouldn't do too much harm lol
