Biocube 16 tank build

Rocks
I think I will attach some pvc to the bottom so when I place them in my tank i don’t have to bury the bottom in the sand. Next step letting them cycle i a 5 gallon bucket for a bit

Congratulations! I'm filling our 32 up w corals right now , yours looks great
I have three zoas currently a pulsing Xenia and a hammer. My prize from @Joe Knows Reefs also included a 6in Zoa colony I think I maxed out my useable tank space for corals

thats what I'm afraid ill end up doing is maxing out space once they really start growing. We have gsp, and xenia ..and plan to keep em groomed . Your cloves and zoas look fantastic. I just added 2 frags of firework cloves, and they're really bright

I pretty sure my nem didn’t like the new light schedule! I recently got myself an ai prime HD. I was running a lighting schedule i graves from someone here but it was mostly blues with very little white. I wanted the whites on for 2-3 hours in the late afternoons so I could appreciate my tank and fish a little bit so I adjusted it yesterday so it does just that. I am running it on the acclimation setting. But it seems the white was to white because i just watched him move. This isn’t such a bad thing because i wanted him off the rock he was on anyway due to my new rocks I’ll be putting in there in a few weeks. I did today put his new rock in there (maybe he knew cuz he was headed right towards it!!) so i helped him out a bit since he was walking anyway it was super easy to tickle his foot and i sat him down in his new home and then used his old rock to shade him a bit and it looks like he likes it! Now let’s just hope he stays there! I made sure i put a deep hole in this rock prior to placing it in the tank. As soon as I got him on it he snuggled down and opens back up!

Congrats!

Won't really hurt anything but why's your Mag so high?
Honestly not sure other than maybe my new salt water.im going to assume it should start going down with my new additions to my tank. I’m not going to do a water change this weekend if I can get my nitrates down with the skimmer. They were a little high that day because i feed the tank that morning.
